Hi, I'm participating in a technology competition this weekend in Pittsburgh.
My group, called Feel, is coming up with a concept for a simple wearable device with buttons that would assist autistic kids in expressing their emotions, similar to an accesibility board. It would also track heart rate, skin temperature, and other metrics. The leader of our team has a sister with autism.
We are looking for feedback on the idea, if there are other similar products out there already, etc.
We also have a survey, if anyone would have a couple minutes to fill it out:
We're not selling anything so I hope this doesn't violate the rules of the message board.
Help us with idea about a wearable device with buttons that helps autistic kids express their feelings
Discuss getting a diagnosis, educational help & electronic devices and apps for autism.
