Postby autismintransition » Fri Jul 22, 2016 2:35 pm

Good afternoon,

We are masters-level occupational therapy students at California State University- Dominguez Hills. Our research team currently conducting a quantitative research study related to vocational training and personal experiences for adults with ASD. Currently, we are seeking participants who are willing to take part in this study by completing an online survey. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete, and participants were are seeking should fit the following criteria:

-Have a formal diagnosis of ASD/Aspergers
-Be between the ages of 18-45
-Are currently enrolled/have enrolled in vocational training programs

Participants are given the incentive to enter a drawing for $50 Amazon gift card.

If possible, we would like to distribute this online survey to families of young adults with ASD, using the Google link below: ... g/viewform

We sought this forum because it is well-revered in the autism community in providing advice and resources to assist individuals with ASD and their families increase their independence and transition well into adulthood. We would be esteemed to collaborate with the parents and students in this forum in acquiring priceless data that will help us better understand the needs and supports individuals with ASD receive through vocational programming. We are hoping to publish this research study to contribute the great need for transitional services for young adults seeking educational and financial independence.

If there are any concerns of questions regarding this research study, we can be reached via email at:

Thank you for your time and attention.
