Advice on jobs

Postby Lindsey b » Mon Jul 03, 2017 7:53 pm

I am newly diagnosed with autism. I have always excelled in academics but have severe difficulty in communication. I have been employed a few times but ended up leaving due to poor interactions with colleagues. Anyone has suggestions as to the kind of jobs suited for people on the spectrum. I graduated from high school but have no college education. Thanks

You have many autistic people in computer science practical techniques, a lot as well are working in public libraries. In fact, any job with high systemizing and not too much relations with customers is for you. Don't hesitate to make your coming out, your colleagues will be more understanding. Beware of narcissistic persons, very likely to bully and harass people with autism.
