Kale Chips

Postby rosiemom » Thu Jan 14, 2010 11:38 am

For Kale Chips

Wash, then pull the large stems off and then cut into pieces about 1/2 the size of your palm. Then make a dressing of:
2 TBSP Tahini
2 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
1 TBSP Water
1/2 fresh squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder

I find this is enough dressing for 1 avg bunch of organic kale. Pour this over the Kale chips like you might a salad and toss so that kale is well covered then put on the dehydrater to dry. I put it on 105 for about 8 hours and they come out flaky, crispy and have a cheesy taste.
