Old Fashioned Southern Roasted Pecans

Postby dabaxter » Mon Apr 25, 2011 1:23 pm

1 lb bag of organic fancy pecan halves
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sea Salt

Drizzle a little olive oil in a ziploc with pecans. Maybe 1/8-1/4 of a cup or less. Mix well.
Please on a cookie sheet in a single layer.
Sea Salt very well. Add pepper if you'd like.
Bake at 300F for about 15 mins.

Allow to cool and serve in moderation.

This is a very good SCD and GAPS snack that's simple to make.

These are good. I just made some cinnamon honey roasted ones too. They're so addictive, I can't make them too often because I eat too many. I used the recipe from elanaspantry.com, but subbed honey for the agave she uses.
