Pico de Gallo recipe for Cinco de Mayo

Classic Mexican salsa.


Ingredients

3 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 red onion, minced
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp lime juice, bottled
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Toss until evenly mixed. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Yield: about 2 cups
