If you are going to choose Magnesium supplements, which form would you choose?
I'm taking magnesium citrate but according to this site https://bebrainfit.com/magnesium-anxiety-stress/
magnesium glycinate ideal for correcting deficiency; has calming effect.
However, Magnesium L-Threonate particularly useful for treating anxiety and depression, and for cognitive enhancement.
While magnesium l-threonate may be tops for your brain, it’s not the best for addressing an overall magnesium deficiency since it contains relatively little elemental magnesium per dose.
Does that mean, it is a good idea to take different Magnesium supplements?
I'm taking Magnesium for anxiety/panic disorders and also for BDNF https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25027582
Magnesium L-Threonate – Elevation of brain magnesium increased NMDA receptors (NMDARs) signaling, BDNF expression, the density of presynaptic puncta, and synaptic plasticity in the prefrontal cortex https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22016520
So I was thinking to take Magnesium L-Threonate
