What is the best chelation protocol?

Postby mommy4ev » Thu Sep 28, 2017 12:26 am

Hello - you hear so much about chelation! EDTA, DMSA, dmps, ala and IV, suppositories, ACC. What is the best protocol and which have you had the MOST success with? I have a nonverbal kiddo with high metal toxicity (urine porphyrin)

Thank you for your response. My son does see a MAPs doctor and he wants to start with suppositories EDTA and DMPS. But I've read ACC says no to EDTA, it just seems like there is so much conflict.

Dont do any chelation until you have proven that there is a heavy metal issue
dont just assume it

having said that a protocol with alpha lipoic acid as its main wont do any harm
as ala is made by most cells in the body anyway
