Retracted: Brian Hooker Reanalyis of MMR data study

The Editor and Publisher regretfully retract the article [1] as there were undeclared competing interests on the part of the author which compromised the peer review process. Furthermore, post-publication peer review raised concerns about the validity of the methods and statistical analysis, therefore the Editors no longer have confidence in the soundness of the findings. We apologise to all affected parties for the inconvenience caused.

Wow. The journal first posted "an expression of concern," and now following further investigation, officially retracted Hooker's paper. Does make one wonder why a journal like that doesn't do a more thorough job of vetting the person submitting the paper on the front side -- Brian Hooker's nuttiness, conflicts of interest, and involvement with persons already proven fraudulent and punished for fraudulent research and practices are really easy to find with a simple google search.

Thanks for pointing that out -- will borrow for another thread. :)
