great book if you are considering biomed! it gives such a good overview and real life cases. he discusses autism, adhd, allergies and asthma in it.

agree!
He gives numerous cases, describes the child and the issues and what he did for them. Then the outcomes. Some recoveries. Most improved drastically.
In one part he describes in detail all of the supplements and meds and what they are/can be used for.

I'm about halfway through it, and it is really well written. I still prefer the scientific explanations that Jaquelyn McCandless gives in Children with Starving Brains, but Bock is a much more engaging writer. I'm completely drawn in to the children's stories, and the whole thing reads like a detective novel.

This is definitely the biomed book I'm going to get my husband to read. He loves mysteries, so this will be right up his alley, and he'll finally know what I'm talking about!

This is my second favorite book next to Children With Starving Brains. Awesome read, I use this book almost everyday.

Not yet - I'm on the waiting list for it at the library. I wish now that I'd read it years ago!
