Getting Your Kid on a Gluten-Free Casein-Free Diet

by Susan Lord

This is a great book for newbies to the diet. Ms. Lord is a registered dietician and so offers much in the way of nutritional information. The first section of the book details how to go about eliminating gluten and casein in a straightforward way. The second section offers ideas for meals, including a 2-week menu, which could easily be rotated through the month. The final part contains over 70 recipes for every meal and snacks. Ms. Lord even discusses what to do if your child is a picky eater.

This book was an easy read and had tons of great information. I think it would be especially helpful to those who want to give this diet a go, but as someone who has been cooking this way for a few years, I found it energized my motivation to improve our meals. It's definitely worth a look!
I had to be there, to get here.
