The Horse Boy, by Rupert Isaacson

Postby Hyacinth » Sun Nov 15, 2009 10:09 pm

A man with a life long fondness for horses takes his autistic on a ride with a neighbor's horse. The boy responds extremely positively. After some research about shamans and healers and animal sentience, the man takes his wife and son to Mongolia where both horses AND shamans are used to heal. The boy makes a miraculous recovery from autism. This book is a must read.

Thanks. This is a book I've wanted to read for a long time. I'm going to borrow it from the library now.
I didn't know how strong I could be until I had to be.

Your library probably has [u]A Child Of Eternity[/u], by Kristi Jorde and Adriana Rocha. It is also one of the must-read books.
