Autism in comics? No way. Angel Falling's lead character Connor is autistic with a photographic physical memory. I saw a post for this on Facebook so I googled it to find more information.

I've never heard of Autism being portrayed in any way in a comic or genre-type book. Apparently the author Jeff Kaufman dedicated this to his autistic son.

Anyone else heard of this before? Is it worth purchasing? I wasn't sure if it would be good to show children to help build awareness. Thanks!

I would purchase few copies and donate it to local library so that there is little more awareness. Link?

A buddy of mine just sent me this link. It's nice that our community is supporting the book, but to be honest I was actually trying to get those not touched by Autism to get a peek into our world. I didn't realize what I had written until I was editing it. I've always believed my son made me a better person. I didn't realize he also made me a better writer. The book is available on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Angel-Falling-GN- ... phic+novel or at https://www.facebook.com/BigCityComics/app_251458316228.
